Kingsley Moghalu pulls out of the PACT after Fela Durotoye emerged as consensus candidate, says ‘I am still firmly in the 2019 presidential race’

This afternoon, Fela Durotoye was chosen by PACT (Presidential Aspirants Coming Together) as the consensus candidate for the 2019 presidential election. 

However, his closest competitor, Kingsley Moghalu who should by virtue of the result withdraw his candidacy and support Durotoye says, ‘I am pressing ahead with my plan to contest the 2019 presidential election.’.

According to him, the election ‘produced an outcome that has left many Nigerians expressing surprise and disappointment’.
