The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will file 11-count charge against Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti state, on Monday.
The charges seen by TheCable, include receiving illegal monies to fund his 2014 governorship campaign in Ekiti state and benefitting from proceeds of money laundering.
Fayose will be arraigned before a high court in Lagos.
An official of the commission had told TheCable that Fayose was served with charges on Friday evening.
