Buhari: Security Remains My Top Priority

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, affirmed that security remained at the apex of his priorities.

He assured Nigerians that successes recorded in degrading terrorists in the North-East would be extended to parts of the country experiencing security challenges.

Buhari gave the assurance when he received members of executive committee Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) led by their President, Dr Francis Faduyile, at the State House, Abuja.

He said that criminals took advantage of the focus on the challenges in the North-East to commit crimes in other parts of the country.

The president noted that efforts were ongoing to improve on employment level, following the success in getting many persons into the agriculture sector.

He expressed the hope that opening up the economy for investments and getting the youths engaged would control crime rate in the country.
