Notable figures from Nigeria’s energy sector, including Mele Kyari, GCEO of NNPCL, Austin Avuru, co-founder of Seplat Energy, and Tony Elumelu, Chairman of UBA, converged on the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) in Victoria Island, Lagos, recently to celebrate the launch of Charles Osezua’s book, Rise of Gas: From Gaslink to the Decade of Gas. The book, hailed as a seminal work, delves into Osezua’s journey advocating for the utilisation of gas as a key driver of economic growth in Nigeria.

In his review of the book, a geologist, publisher, and co-convener of the Lagos Book & Art Festival, Toyin Akinosho, lauded the book as a “massive store of knowledge.”
