ONE of the leading governorship aspirants in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Adeola, on Sunday, said he had not directed any of his supporters to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Adeola, who is the Senator representing Lagos West in the National Assembly, in a statement by his media adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, admitted that some of his few admirers left his camp because their effort to join the mainstream of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were frustrated during the congresses of the ruling party.
He insisted that he had not directly or indirectly asked any of his loyalists to join any political party, saying he would rather resign from politics than leave the progressives fold.
