Govt pledges support for Nigerian Academy of Education

THE Federal Government has applauded the leadership of the Nigerian Academy of Education for the role it plays in the development of educational policies in the country.

Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, gave this commendation when he received members of the Nigerian Academy of education in his office, in Abuja.

He underscored the importance of the Nigerian Academy of education in the promotion of excellence in the Nigerian education sector, particularly in the area of research and empirical studies, as well as the promotion of ethics in the teaching profession, adding that government would continue to support the academy to advance the cause of education in Nigeria.
