NYSC charges Ekiti corpers to take advantage of skills acquisition programmes

THE Ekiti State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs Emmanuella Okpongete, has warned the 1734 corps members deployed to the state for their national service against vices that could ruin their future.

Mrs. Okpongete, who gave the charge on Thursday at the swearing in of the corps members, charged them to “shun evil act capable of leading them into trouble such as drug abuse, cult activities, prostitution and malingering after light out.”

At the official opening of their orientation and swearing-in ceremony of the 2018 Batch B corps members deployed to Ekiti State, held at the permanent orientation camp in Ise/Orun/Emure-Ekiti, she expressed satisfaction with what she said was the patriotism of the youths.
