Man expresses disappointment with Buhari, begins trek from Lagos to Abuja

A man, Isa Mohammed Munlaila, on Thursday, commenced a road journey, on foot, from Lagos to Abuja, saying he resolved to embark on the journey to express his displeasure against President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 presidential ambition and the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) for failed promises.

Munlaila, who spoke with newsmen in Lagos, said Nigerian youths were angry with Buhari for failing the nation after three years at the helm of affairs, lamenting that people were suffering as the standard of living had gone up under the government led by him despite the promises made to them.

The 28-year-old Munlaila, who hails from Borno State, had claimed to have walked from Lagos to Lokoja in 2015 in support of Buhari and the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, saying that the new journey would take him between 18 and 20 days to do.
