ONE of the gubernatorial aspirants of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bauchi state, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate has alleged that the conduct of the party’s primaries in the state is marred by electoral malpractices, manipulation and outright falsehood.
Addressing Journalists at the NUJ press centre on Sunday, Ali Pate alleged that as the time he spoke to the press (3 pm), the exercise had not commenced as the national officials according to him were still preparing on how to go about the conduct of the exercise.
The aspirant dismissed what he described as fake results been circulated in the social media saying that it was the handiwork of the state government just as he assured that, “very much soon the real exercise will be conducted and the real winner will emerge”.
