In its quest to ensure the girl child has a proper hygiene and sound health, an NGO, Heal for Africa Initiative donated over 700 sanitary pads to girls in Kogi State.
This gesture was just in commemoration of the International Day of Girl Child celebrated world over on every October 11 according to the mandate of the United Nations.
The convener and Executive Director of Heal For Africa Initiative, Dr Kelechi Okoro, succinctly educated the participants on menstrual health, s3xual hygiene and their roles in nation building.
