Nigeria’s former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has described the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka as a credible candidate for the governorship position in Ogun State in the 2019 elections.He declared this at the official presentation of Isiaka, his running mate,Mrs.Olabisi Okeowo-Bolade and other candidates to Obasanjo by the party’s leadership, held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library auditorium, Abeokuta, on Saturday.
Sunday Tribune recalls that Obasanjo in a letter written on the state of the nation last January, bemoaned the level of hopelessness in the nation which was responsible for the formation of the Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM) and later adopted ADC.
