DSS plotting to rearraign Sowore on fresh charges, Falana alleges
MR Femi Falana, lead counsel for the detained activist-politician, Omoyele Sowore, on Monday alleged that the Department of State Service (DSS) is planning to re-arraign his client on fresh charges.
The senior advocate, himself a leading rights activist, said the alleged move would be resisted until the issue of Sowore’s bail was sorted out.
He spoke on Channels television.
According to Falana, the fresh charges and planned rearraignment were geared towards further keeping the media personality in detention.
