THE educational programme for special needs children has changed over the last two decades in Nigeria. Professionals working with these children need to keep up with their professional counterparts oversees. Countries like the UK, USA and Canada use specialised ways of disseminating information and knowledge to the disabled. This form of education allows the disabled child to join his or colleagues in the regular classroom, making him or her feel free among his/her counterparts.
