Group says petition on Okoro’s alleged unlawful detention misleading

A petition written by Rose Okoro to the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami (SAN) and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Alkali Baba Usman, over the alleged unlawful detention of her husband, Sunday, has been described as baseless and misleading.

Mrs Okoro had alleged last week alleged that her husband was arrested in Sapele on September 9, 2020, by plain-clothed policemen following alleged complaints of threats to life by one Sunny Nwankego.
