Makinde urges World Bank not to withdraw approval, funding for IUFMP activities

The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has appealed to the World Bank not to withdraw its conditional no objection for the Second Pool of Long Term Investments (PLTI2) BERs, and make available funding for the contracts, reiterating his commitment to the welfare of the people in the state.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Taiwo Adisa, the government indicated that the state rejects insinuations that the World Bank had withdrawn its commitment to IUFMP due to the display of undue interests by the governor.
