Lagos diverts traffic at Teslim Balogun Stadium ahead of world cup qualifier


The Lagos State Government has announced diversion of traffic to Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere ahead of preparation for the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria and Liberia.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the qualifying match between the two countries will be played by 5pm on September 3.

A statement issued by the Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, explained that vehicles would be barred from accessing Surulere from Teslim axis from noon.

Oladeinde added that the diversion would include the service lane inbound the National Stadium from Alaka and Teslim Balogun Stadium from Ojuelegba.
