Igbinedion University mourns Sowore, describes death as irreparable loss


The management of Igbinedion University, Okada, IUO, on Monday described the death of Olajide Felix Sowore, as an irreparable loss.

Olajide Sowore, the younger brother of Omoyele Sowore, the convener of “Revolution Now”, was killed by kidnappers on Saturday morning while on his way from Okada to Benin. 

In a condolence message posted on the school’s website on Monday, the university said it received the news of the death of the younger Sowore with a “deep sense of loss”.

 “The Management, staff and students of Igbinedion University Okada received with a deep sense of loss the news of the unfortunate death of Mr. Olajide Sowore, a 200-Level Pharmacy student of the university….
