The Paramount ruler in the Kwararafa kingdom and chairman, Taraba State Council of Chiefs, His majesty, Dr Shekarau Angyu Masa Ibi, Kuvyo II (CON) is dead.
In a statement signed by Mr Jolly Agbu, SA, media to the Aku Uka, it read, “the paramount ruler joined his ancestors at the age of 84 after 45 years of reign.”
The statement added that, all traditional rites in accordance with the Jukun tradition has since commenced and the final traditional rites for Aku Uka’s transition from the Palace to Puje would be announced in due course.
