FG promises to implement 5% of jobs for persons with disabilities


Better days may ahead for persons with disabilities in the country as the federal government has promised to implement the law mandating 5% of jobs at both private and public sectors to be allocated to them.

Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr Chris Ngige, gave this pledge in Abuja at the weekend, noting that there will be a service-wide circular to all the ministries and parastatals by next week.

Ngige said that he has given agencies under his ministry clear directives toward the implication of the policy.
