Retired Odu’a Investment staff protest unpaid cooperative deduction

Retired staff of Premier hotel and Odu’a Investment, Ibadan, on Monday, protested unpaid cooperative deduction to the tune of about N19 million.

The protest saw the retired staff block the entry and exit of Premier hotel, hampering the free flow of traffic for both staff of the hotel and road users.

One of the protesters, Mr Olaniyi Afolabi, expressed dissatisfaction that his daily life had been affected by the nonpayment.

He noted that the issue of unpaid cooperative deduction dated back to 2018.

Another staff of the hotel, Emmanuel Arire, bemoaned that the protest hampered their performance of their daily activities.
