School fees racketeering: CSOs tackle FCT board’s chairman over explanation


SOME Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) have berated the Chairman of Federal Capital Territory’s Secondary Education Board (FCT SEB), Alhaji Yahaya Musa Mohammed, over his explanation on the alleged fees racketeering in public secondary schools in Abuja.

The Initiative for Citizens Rights, Accountability and Development (ICRAD) and Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEA) said the explanation by Mohammed on the mandatory N1,500 fee imposed on students have raised more questions than answers.
