Mixed feelings as Lagos earmarks N5bn to kick-start monthly rental policy  


Despite a strong opposition by the real estate developers, investors and landlords on the proposal in the past, the Lagos State Government is currently taking the bull by the horn to lighten the burdens of accommodation among  citizens, announcing a commitment of whopping N5 billion to kick-start the implementation of monthly rental policy across the state, starting from January 2020. DAYO AYEYEMI, reports.

IN what looks like a win-win situation for both real estate investors and tenants if the rules of the game are strictly adhered to by all stakeholders, the Lagos State Government has mapped out strategies to kick-start monthly rental policy in the state.
