As part of efforts to ensure that the productivity of smallholder farmers are enhanced to enable them perform optimally in their role of feeding the nation with their produce, Small Scale Women’s Farmers Organisation in Nigeria (SWOFON) has asked government for palliatives in form of agricultural produce, adding that smallholder farmers are the source of feeding the nation as large-scale farmers only export and distribute to corporate organisations.
