
Motorists and passengers traveling to Mile 2 were delayed on Saturday after a morning downpour caused flooding on the trade fair and Abule-Ado axis of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
According to NAN, the flood flooded the trade fair axis, temporarily delaying expressway traffic.
The downpour, which began at 5.00 a.m. and lasted for hours, led numerous passengers to disembark from commercial vehicles and journey from Abule-Ado to Barracks in Ojo.
Some passengers and motorists requested the Lagos State Government to clear the drains in order to avoid future floods.
