Niger gov declares state of emergency on thuggery


Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has declared a state of emergency on terror and directed security agencies to deal with anyone trying to disrupt the peace in the state.

The governor gave the directive during the annual Mini Durbar organised by former Niger State Governor and Talban Minna, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu.

Governor Umaru Bago said the state government will not condone any form of criminal activity in the state, as his administration has zero tolerance for rascality and thuggery.
