Ekiti govt announces free surgical mission for residents

As part of concerted efforts to improve healthcare accessibility and outcomes for the people of Ekiti State, the State Government is set to commence a comprehensive Free Surgical Mission aimed at providing essential surgical care to residents of the state. 

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr Oyebanji Filani in Ado-Ekiti at the weekend, said the Free Surgical Mission will be conducted across various healthcare facilities in the state.

He added the surgical mission is expected to cater for a wide range of surgical needs, including Caesarian Section, Hernia repairs, Appendectomies, Cataract surgeries, Lump removals, Fibroid Removal, Hydrocele…
