Former Kaduna Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has accused National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, of lying about his past statements on President Bola Tinubu’s corruption allegations.
El-Rufai claims that Ribadu, as the former EFCC chairman, had indeed accused Tinubu of corruption, contrary to Ribadu’s recent denial.
The controversy started when Hajia Naja’atu Muhammad, a former commissioner in the Police Service Commission, alleged that Ribadu had described Tinubu, Senators George Akume, and Orji Uzor Kalu as highly corrupt during his time at the EFCC.
Ribadu’s lawyer demanded a public apology and retraction from Muhammad.
