Lagos State University, LASU, yesterday, said it had closed admission of students for the 2017/2018 academic session following last week’s short-listing of 3,500 successful candidates.
Mr Adekoya Martins, LASU Acting Head, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations of the institution, disclosed this to reporters in Lagos.
“The management hereby informs all candidates who chose LASU and were not shortlisted for admission that the admission process for the 2017/2018 academic session is closed,” he said .
According to him, candidates, parents, guardians and the general public should be wary of ‘unscrupulous elements’ who may want to use the name of the institution to exploit unsuspecting candidates.
