Akure — A mob, yesterday, lynched two brothers and one other robbery suspect in Akure, the Ondo State capital, causing panic and tension across the state.

Vanguard gathered that the suspected bandits stole two motorcycles at gunpoint along Aratusi Street, Oke-Aro in Akure metropolis.

The deceased brothers are Femi Ojo and Segun Ojo. Their accomplice, the third victim of jungle justice, is Taye Pius.

The theft of motorcycle used for commercial purposes had been rampant across the state in the last one month

In a swift reaction, the state Police Command warned against jungle justice, with its spokesman, Femi Joseph, saying the Command will not condone such act and vowed that the killers of the three suspects will be fished out and brought to book.
