‎Anambra: NSCDC deploys 15, 000 personnel, sniffer dogs, surveillance vehicles

ABUJA – Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra state, Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu has approved the deployment of 15, 000 personnel, sniffers dogs and Mobile Surveillance Vehicles to ensure a hitch free exercise.

The Commandant General disclosed this while addressing senior officers at the National headquarters in Abuja.

He also approved the deployment of sniffer dogs, specialised units such as the SWAT, CBRN, CTU, Undercover and Specialised Forces to protect the Critical Infrastructures and National Assets situated in the state and its environs from being vandalised by criminally minded individuals who may take advantage of activities like the election to carry out their nefarious activities.
