ABUJA—Against the backdrop of the allegation that the former National Working Committee (NWC) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) squandered the party’s funds, the former national treasurer, Alhaji Buhari Bala yesterday debunked such allegation.
The ex-treasurer said the former national chairman of the party, Adamu Mu’azu never left N9 billion behind, warning that such should not be used as campaign issue in the forthcoming national convention.
Bala in a statement noted that party funds were never squandered, noting that auditors and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had given the party a clean bill.
