The incumbent governor and the winner of the just concluded Anambra gubernatorial election held on the 18th of November 2017, Chief Willie Mmaduaburochukwuku Obiano, on Friday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the state house Abuja.
The special Adviser on Media and Publicity to president Buhari, Femi Adesina said that, Obiano was received in audience in the state house.
Recall that Gov. Obiano had visited President Buhari when the billed Nov 18th election drew close. Now that the election has come and gone, Obiano did not just want to laud president Buhari in his first statement issued immediately he won the election, he rather chose to go in person to the state house to personally thank him for keeping his words.
Buhari had equally before the election promised Anambrarians that he would ensure a free and fair election which perhaps he did.
