Aspirations by Ife to succeed Aregbesola, morally correct, says Adefaye

OSOGBO – The aspirations by some indigenes of Ile Ife, planing to succeed the incumbent governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, received the backing of the General Manager, Editor-in-Chief of Vanguard Newspaper, Mr. Gbenga Adefaye, who described the move as “morally correct”.

Adefaye, who spoke in Ile Ife on Saturday, while delivering a paper on the topic: “The Contemporary Ife Issues: The way forward” at the 40th Anniversary lecture of the Ife Club 25, said, notwithstanding the fact that the incumbent Governor Aregbesola hails from East Senatorial that has the Ife and the Ijesas, it is indisputable fact that Ifes remains the only distinct group that has not produced…
