The National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS) has conferred an award of excellence on the Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Rt. Hon Muyiwa Oladipo, for his role at ensuring that culture continues to thrive in the country.
Comrade Ejiro Ayigbe, President, Delta State chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students said the decision to honour Rt. Hon Muyiwa Oladipo with an award of excellence was reached at the Senate of the association.
Ejiro noted that his impact was felt across the country and the continent with the introduction of the Nigerian Drums Festival now African Drums Festival.
