PDP convention: Constitutional amendment scales through as new clause suffers setback

ABUJA-National delegates to the 2017 Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) national convention have voted for the amendment of some sections of the party’s constitution.

The motion for the amendment of the constitution was moved by Bayelsa State governor and chairman, Post- Convention Reconciliation Committee, Honourable Serieke Dickson at the convention on Saturday in Abuja and seconded by the Senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District, Mohammed Hassan.

According to Dickson, “The proposed amendments include the preamble of the PDP constitution to reflect current realities”
