Nsukka—The new chairman of Nsukka local government council, Chief Patrick Omeje, has appealed to the newly sworn-in councillors and Nsukka residents to support his administration in order to make Nsukka great again.
Omeje made the call in on Thursday during the swearing-in ceremony of 20 councillors that were elected during the November 4, local government election in Enugu State.
He said with the co- operation of the councillors, stakeholders and residents, his administration would be able to achieve its mission of delivering dividends of democracy and restoring the lost glory of Nsukka.
“If we work together as a team, we will restore the lost glory of Nsukka as the best university town in the country,” he said.
