Father laments harassment of exiled son over IPOB link

Pa Joseph Chukwueme, father of a 49-year-old, Mr. Gregory Chukwueme, has lamented the harassment of his son by security agencies for being a member of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Chukwueme said plain clothes security agents had visited his residence in Asaba, capital of Delta State, twice between November last year and February of 2018 to find out the whereabouts of his son (Gregory), who has relocated out of Nigeria, after series of threats to life.

The octogenarian, in an interview on Wednesday in Asaba, said that the son’s residence located at 24, Akunwa Okoye Street in the Nkpor area of Onitsha, Anambra State had been visited and ransacked by security agents prior to his sons exit out of the country.
