The Health & Managed Care Association of Nigeria, HMCAN, has threatened to challenge the reinstatement of Professor Usman Yusuf as the Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS.
Chairman of the Association with is umbrella body for Health Maintenance Organisations, HMOs, in Nigeria, Dr. Tunde Ladele, who disclosed this to Vanguard, said Yusuf was unfit for the position of the Executive Secretary.
According to Ladele, HMCAN had earlier challenged Yusuf’s appointment because it was irregular.
