NSE: FTN Cocoa, Vitafoam lead losers as investors take profitability

FTN Cocoa Processing Plc and Vitafoam Plc today led 29 othet losers on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, as investors take profits from gains made in the last four trading days.

Specifically, 31 losers emerged during the day compared to 28 gainers. FTN Cocoa and Vitafoam, which led the laggards, declined by five percent each to close at N0.38 and N2.85 receptively.

Sovereign Trust Insurance closed as the second on the list, falling by 4.76 percent to close at N0.40 from N0.42, followed by Dunlop Plc with 4.76 percent decrease to close at N0.40 from N0.42.

Cornerstone Insurance was the last on the top five losers’ table, dropping by 4.65 percent to close at N0.41 from N0.43 per share.

Japaul Oil and Maritime Services Plc led the gainers, appreciating by 7.41 percent to close at N0.58 from N0.54, followed by First Aluminum Nigeria Plc, that went…
