Amid the insinuation that Saraki and co may dump the APC, the ruling party says it is doing everything possible to stave off possible defections of some of its critical stakeholders ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Speaking in a telephone interview with Vanguard, National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, said the meetings being held with such stakeholders by the leadership of the party, including President Muhammadu Buhari, were an indication of the desire of the APC to keep its house intact.
