Following the defeat in the recently concluded Bauchi south senatorial by-election, member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Hon. Maryam Garba Bagel who contested the by-election on the platform of Social Democratic Party (SDP) has accused the governor of Bauchi state, Mohammed Abubakar of sponsoring a campaign to malign her character.
Recall that on Tuesday, the lawmaker was reported to have raised an alarm that some elements delivered an envelope filled with copies of photo-shopped pornographic pictures of her, along with letter warning her to desist from being antagonistic to the state government or else they would make public the photo-shopped nude images.
