PDP mocks EFCC, presidency for shielding Taraba APC Gov’ship candidate from arrest, prosecution

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Youths Vanguard in Taraba state has accused the Economic and Financial Crime Commission and office of the Vice President Yemi Oshibajo of shielding Taraba APC Governorship Candidate Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danladi from facing corruption trial. ‎

Danladi, a former Acting Governor of Taraba, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and violation of financial regulations preferred against him and two others Sen. Joel Ikenya and Mark Useni accused of collecting the sum of N450 million from the former National Security Adviser Col. Sambo Dasuki‎ to prosecute the 2015 election in the state.‎

A federal high court in Jalingo had October 23, summoned the governorship candidate to appear before the court on 5th, December to answer the N450m corruption charges against him and two others, however the APC governorship candidate defied the court order.
