Ogun: Adebutu disowns son’s alliance with Amosun

Multibillionaire businessman, Sir Kesington Adebutu has distanced himself from his son’s political engagement with Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s adopted successor, Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM in the governorship contest in Ogun State.

Mr. Ladi Adebutu who was produced by a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as the governorship candidate of the party in the state had recently aligned with Akinlade following the judicial pronouncement that conferred legitimacy on Senator Kashamu Buruji as the PDP candidate.

Upon that Adebutu had reportedly reached a power sharing agreement with Akinlade under which both will share power in a government formed by Akinlade.

However, Ladi Adebutu’s father, Sir Kessington in a statement issued on Friday distanced himself from the agreement as he threw his support towards Prince Dapo Abiodun, the All Progressives…
