Mr Soji Adagunodo, the Osun Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has decried the low turnout in Saturday’s House of Assembly election in the state.

Adagunodo , who spoke with newsmen in his home town in Ilowa, Obokun Local Government Area of the state, said the voters’ apathy might due to the fact that there was no governorship election in the state.

He said that the turnout of voters was not impressive when compared to the massive turn out during the Presidential and National Assembly elections two weeks ago.

Adagunodo said that the turnout of voters was not impressive when compared to the National and Presidential election in the state.

“The turnout of voters is very low. Although it is normal since there is no governorship election in the state.

“But all the same, the turnout of voters is still reasonable,’’Adagunodo said.
