As far as I am concerned, the 2019 elections are over. The so-called inconclusive elections announced by Professor Mahmood Yakubu are just smokescreens for arriving at conclusions already decided. At the very least, Professor Yakubu, who at various times was asked to resign by various groups and individuals, should quickly release the results he likes and then just as quickly resign. He will never go down in history as having conducted a free and fair election. Perhaps the next Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should not be another professor. Increasingly, one is getting the impression that most of our professors are intelligent, but not wise. Yakubu is one such.
