ISIOKOLO —THE spate of insecurity in Ethiope East Local Government Area continued, Wednesday, with the abduction of four travellers by a gang of hoodlums at Okurekpo community in Okpara inland, Delta State.
This came as the remains of the fifth victim killed on Tuesday by suspected herdsmen was recovered from his farm.
Speaking on the recovered corpse, a relative of one of the victims, Prince Godstime Ukuanovwe, said: “Despite reporting the matter at the Police Division, the police refused to assist in the recovery of the lifeless body hence, a search party was constituted, which recovered the corpse.”

On the abduction of the travellers made up of three males and a female, a security source in the area said the victims had a flat tyre along the community road and alighted to change it when the hoodlums struck.
