Lagos – First Civilian Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, was on Tuesday conferred with honorary award of coveted fellowship by Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), Ijanikin, Lagos State.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Jakande received the fellowship at the Joint Convocation of the institution.
Conferring the award, the Provost of AOCOED, Mrs Aina Ladele, said Jakande was honoured for his contributions to providing quality education for the state and his effort at moving the college to its present location.
The Provost said the college graduated 5,674 students drawn from five schools across its full time, School of Part -time Studies and Centre for Outreach Programme for 2014/2015 , 2015/2016, 2016/ 2017 academic sessions.
