Insecurity: Buhari vows to end sorrows of Nigerians

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his determination to put to an end the sorrows Nigerians are passing through as a result of the heightened insecurity in the country.

Consequently, the President has said he is committed to spending whatever resources he has at his disposal to bring to a quick end all the issues affecting citizens of the country.

The National Security Adviser, NSA, Major-Gen Babagana Monguno retd, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the
National Security Council meeting presided over by President Buhari at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja, Thursday.

The national security council, which is comprised of the Service Chiefs and heads of security agencies is the highest security body in the country.

It is chaired by the President and sits once every quarter to discuss, strategies and review the most critical issues affecting national security.
