President Muhammadu Buhari has announced several intervention measures geared towards ensuring that Nigerians are not hit hard by the effect of the Coronavirus disease on the economy.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina said in a statement on Thursday, said that the country is not immune to the ravaging impact of the pandemic across the globe since the need for government to take proactive measures.
Adesina said an economic team, headed by the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning has already been set up to examine the impact of COVID-19 on the economy with the view to making life meaningful to the populace now and after things return to normalcy.
