Audio streaming platform, Spotify has revealed that Gen Z are now turning to streaming platforms for a modern way of worship.

It revealed that Nigerian Gen Z’s Christian podcast streams on Spotify surge has surged by 482% between 2022 and 2024 and Nigerian Gen Zs pay more attention to gospel related programmes on the platform.

It also revealed that Nigerian Gen Z’s Gospel music streams on Spotify surge 1228% between 2022 and 2024.

Nigerian Gen Zs have also created over 140,000 gospel playlists on Spotify
